The Ngara people are majorly Muslims (adherent of Islam constitute about 91%). The Christians constitute meager 5%, leaving adherent of the African Traditional Religion (ATR) with the balance 3%. And many are animists.
This mission field was created in 2002. It is located in Yobe State of Nigeria with the 23 Local Governments councils as its area of courage. They speak Kerekere and Hausa languages
People Group: Manga/kanuris, karekares, Bades Ngizim, Bolewa and Hausa/Fulanis.
Field mandates
- Regular Outreach programmes such as Film, medical, one to one witnessing, crusade etc, at least twice in a month
- To make sure regular Discipleship programmes and literacy classes are run in all the worship centres.
- To plant at least a Church among the target people Groups
- To train at least 1 indigenous Pastor among the target People Groups.
