FRIDAY, JUNE 1
Generally, Muslim love to watch Television and listen to radio during Ramadan fasting. Pray that the Lord shall turn the heart of Muslims to tune in to Christian satellite TV and Christian radio channels for inspirational messages that will lead them to make decision for Christ. Pray that God will lead them to the right programs to develop a thirst for Him, seek Him for the truth, and ask God for forgiveness through Christ. Today is Friday. As our Muslim brothers and sisters observe the Jumaat Prayer today, let us Pray that God will Reveal Himself to them.
SATURDAY, JUNE 2
Islamic extremists normally use this period of Ramadan fasting to showcase their extremism through heretical preaching and hate speeches against other faiths which always end up in destruction of lives and properties. Pray that the Church will rise in Prayer against any form of religious violence during this Ramadan fast in Jesus’ name. Ask for divine protection for Christians who live in Muslim majority areas.
SUNDAY, JUNE 3
The need for security operatives to be up and doing during this Ramadan fast cannot be over emphasized. Pray that our security operatives will be security conscious and combat ready to nip-in- the bud any security challenge that might arise during this Ramadan fasting. Take this time also to Pray for the Inspector —General of the Nigerian Police Force and all other security Chiefs to remain unbiased and patriotic in discharging their constitutional responsibilities to the Nation.
MONDAY, JUNE 4
Pray for the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhamadu Buhari. Pray that this Government will not give way to religious bigotry. Pray that the president will be sensitive and fair to all in the interest of all Nigerians all the time. Ask God to correct the perceived imbalances in the Country.
TUESDAY, JUNE 5
National Islamic decisions normally take place during Ramadan fasting period in Nigeria under the leadership of His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, who is the grand Emir of Muslim Ummars in Nigeria. Pray that the Lord shall guide his heart in making decisions that will not jeopardize the peaceful coexistence of Muslims and Christians in Nigeria.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6
Nigeria has over the years experienced some form of violence perpetrated by religious radicals. These people tend to enforce their ideologies above and against other faiths in the Country. Pray that the all-knowing and all-powerful God shall reveal their secret plans to plunge our Country into religious war. Also, pray that the Lord will expose all ungodly plans in politics, economics, education, media, commerce etc in Nigeria, especially during this Ramadan fasting period.
THURSDAY, JUNE 7
Today is probably the first day of last 10 days of Muslim Ramadan fasting. This is believed by Muslims to be a period of escape from hell when Allah delivers those who observe Ramadan well. Intercede for the enduring mercy of God to truly deliver them from hell and translate them into the kingdom of His dear Son Jesus Christ. Pray, using John 3:16, for Muslims to embrace the love of God Revealed in Christ, so they can be saved from eternal condemnation.
FRIDAY, JUNE 8
There is the need to Pray for missionaries who are involved directly in reaching out to Muslims around them. Pray that the Word of God will be effective in its various forms of presentation to reach these Muslims. Pray that God will honour His Word in the lives and ministry of the missionaries. Ask God to also protect them from the evil deeds of those who do not believe in the God of the Bible. Pray that as our Muslim brothers and sisters observe their Jummat prayers today, God will bring many of our Muslim brothers and sisters to the point of accepting Him into their lives before the end of this year.
SATURDAY, JUNE 9
Lets Pray sincerely using John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent”. We know who God is through His Word. There are some Muslims who are curious about the teachings of the Bible. During this time of heightened spiritual focus, Pray that they will be more willing to listen to the teachings of the Bible or even begin to read the Word of God.
SUNDAY, JUNE 10
Pray for Muslims who are questioning their faith during this Ramadan fast, that they will meet others who have walked that journey before funding Christ. Also, pray that those Muslims who have decided to follow Jesus will find fellowship and peace within their new faith.
MONDAY, JUNE 11
Pray that the millions of unreached immigrants leaving their homelands during this Ramadan period in search of a new life will find one in Christ in those places they find themselves. Pray that Muslim believers with Islamic background will grow in unity, love and become lights for others. Pray that they will encourage one another. Pray that they will live in agape love and fellowship consequently making them the light and salt of Christ unto others.
TUESDAY, JUNE 12
Sometimes radical Muslims during Ramadan fasting exhibits hatred towards Christians. They may be involved in hate speeches. Pray for fellow Christians to resist the temptation to exchange hatred for hatred, hostility for hostility. Pray that God will lead you to a Muslim or Muslims during this Ramadan fasting whom you can show the love of Christ to.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13
The 27th day of Ramadan is remembered each year as the night when supposedly, Muhammad received the first Revelation of the Quran in a cave on Mont Hira, near Mecca in the year AD 610. The Quran States that this night is better than a thousand months. It is a night when Allah gives heed to their requests and they are often open to dreams and visions at this time seeking Allah’s guidance and Revelation. Pray that this year’s power night shall be a special one because Jesus shall appear in their dreams and visions and encounter them supernaturally.
THURSDAY, JUNE 14
In the next few days Ramadan fasting will come to an end and most Muslim will be in festive moods. This time normally come with the fear of terrorist attack. Some radical Islamic terrorists take delight in suicide bombing in the name of Allah at this festive period. Pray against this wicked practice in the name of religion. Ask God to spare Christians in Nigeria and other nations.

North Africa was the hub of early Christianity but today Muslims, constitutes 98% of this region. Pray for restoration of Christianity in this region. Ask God to cause a great revival among the Christian remnants in Mauritania, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Western Sahara and Libya. Pray that God will protect and fill the few missionaries working there with His Spirit and wisdom to take over the region for Christ. Pray that God will bring some of our Muslim brothers and sisters into His kingdom by His revelation during their Jumaat Prayers today.

The Lord has done it again this year. Appreciate God for giving you the opportunity to join other Christian warriors in Praying for the salvation of Muslims during this year’s Ramadan fast. Thank God for the souls of Muslims saved during this fast. Ask God to help the Church to accept the responsibility of nurturing these new Muslim background believers. Pray for God’s grace to persist in Praying for salvation and deliverance of over 1.5 billion Muslims all over the world.

Thank God for the School of Missions (SOM) Oke-Bola, Ogbomoso. Thank God for the giant strides recorded in the previous years in this School. This SOM has recorded a total of up to 11 different people groups at a time that enrolled as students. Pray that all the efforts to reach these students will result in them returning to their various people groups to be used by the Lord to bring them to the saving knowledge of Christ.

The SOM Oke-Bola has a Primary School that takes care of the early education of the host community; Pray that God will make this school to help these young ones not only to have head knowledge but also that they will be shown the way of Jesus Christ early in life so that they can accept Him as their Lord and Saviour and consequently serve Him.

The Idons, also called the Idongs number about 11,000 in population and live in Kachia division of Kaduna State in Nigeria. Although many of the Idons have become Muslims, most are ethnic religionists, still following their traditional religious practices and beliefs. They Pray to the sky god for health and prosperity. Ask God to deliver them from every satanic covenant they have entered that is hindering the spread of the Gospel among them. Pray that God will give the Idon believers boldness to share the Gospel of Christ among their own people.

Thank God for the School of Missions (SOM) Ida in Kogi State. Pray that God will establish this School. The School has some logistic issues to tackle for smooth running. Pray for the cooperation of the host community in making this Schools to fulfill the purpose for which it was established. Ask God to send to the School potential pioneer evangelists, self supporting missionaries and Church planters as students.

Thank God and Pray for all of the heads of our Schools of Missions (SOM): Rev. and Mrs Landi Markus Giwa for SOM Gidan Ahamadu, Katsina State; Rev. and Mrs Solomon Lanza of SOM Minna, Niger State; Rev. Patrick Rotimi of SOM Oke-Bola Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Rev. Dr and Mrs Obateru of Idah, Kogi State. Pray that God will help these couples as they work tirelessly to bring the Schools to the levels that God would want them to be. Pray that God will grant these servants of His, the wisdom to raise the Schools to His own standard and that they will continue to find favour before Him, the host community and other people God plan to use to support the Schools. Pray for divine encounter with God through signs and wonders for our Muslim brothers and sisters, as they observe their Jumaat Prayers today.

Thank God for how far He has helped us with the Professional School of Missions in Ibadan. Thank God for the lives of all our volunteer lecturers and all the students, both current and the past. Pray that all the students being trained in this School will be a blessing in reaching out to many nations.

The cry for finance is likely to reduce if the alumna of professional School of mission will pull their resources together as well as use their ministry of influence on some of their colleagues. Therefore, pray that God will raise from among them His instrument for this vision and make many to become mission mobilisers.

Thank God for the staff of the Training Unit of the Global Missions Board, Pray that God will grant the team the wisdom to carry out their duties as unto God and not men. Pray for Rev. Olusegun Makinde who is the Ministry Coordinator, Rev.Mrs Temilola Adewumi, the Unit Head of Training and Pastor Alli Kolade the ministerial and liaison officer of the Unit. Ask God to bless the works of their hands for His glory in Jesus Name. Pray that the grace of God will abound on them and their family members.

The Library of the Global Missions Board is still a work in progress. It is hoped that someday soon it will be fully equipped with all that is necessary to make it a resource center for all mission lovers seeking information on Missions and other related fields. Pray that this dream will become a reality and that the reason for the library will be actualized. Pray that the library among other things will be used to motivate people to read about missions so they may know where they can be useful for God’s work.

The Ikus number about 12,000 in population and live in the Kachia division of Kaduna State, Nigeria. They are closely related to the Idon people and speak a similar language. Although many of them have become Muslim. Most are ethnic religionists, still following their traditional religious practices and beliefs. Many religious practices of the Ikus center on an ancestral cult in which the dodo represents the ancestral spirit. Ask God to deliver them from every satanic covenant they have entered, which is hindering the spread of the Gospel among them. Pray that God will give the few Iku believers boldness to share the Gospel of Christ among their own people.

The 230,400 Kwankas are located in Plateau and Bauchi States in north-central Nigeria. The Kwankas are 37% Muslim, 3% Christian and 60% followers of traditional, animistic religion (believing that non-human objects have spirits). The Kwankas have no Christian resources available to them in their language and no mission agency is currently working among them. Pray that God will raise labourers (mission agencies) who will start engaging these people for Christ. Ask that the Lord will remove every veil covering their mind from the true Gospel of Christ.
FRIDAY, JUNE 29 - UNREACHED PEOPLE
The Mandaras (or Wandala) tribe is located just south of Lake Chad in both northern Cameroon and Nigeria. Most of them survive by farming. The Mandaras are 98% Malikite Muslim. Like most other Sudanic-influenced tribes, Islam penetrates deep into their lives. Pray for God’s wisdom and favor to rest on the mission agencies that are working among this tribe for a fruitful ministry. Ask God to uphold the few Mandara Christians and make them instrument in God’s hands to reach out to their people. Pray for more labourers among this people group. Pray that as our Muslim brothers and sisters meet today for other Jumaat Prayers, may they encounter the true God through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Dirims, also known as the Dakkas, are located in the Adamawa, Mambilla, and Muri divisions of the then Gongola State (now Adamawa and Taraba), Nigeria. They differ from other groups in their area in that their clans are matrilineal, tracing ancestry through the females. Although some of the Dirims have converted to Islam due to Muslim Fulani influence, nearly 80% of them still practice their traditional ethnic religion. Pray that the Gospel of Christ will prosper among this people. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send more missionaries to join the few ones who are already working among the Dirims.
